ANGRY CHICKEN
The whole story
The story behind
The beginning
Atsuko Yamano, a talented Japanese full-blooded chef and drummer in a punk-pop band, moved from Tokyo to neighboring South Korea in the 1990s during the Asian financial crisis and fell in love with tattoo artist and former bartender Park Tae-Soo during one of her jam sessions there.

The idea of chimaek
Atsuko and Park spent many nights at jam sessions and techno parties. Often, the nights ended with chimaek - chicken and beer - in one of Seoul's many small basement bars. The two lovers ordered korean fried chicken, beer and soju with their friends and placed everything in the middle of the table. Everyone served themselves, joking around, and the room was filled with laughter.

ANGRY CHICKEN was born
Atsuko and Park fondly remember this time when they enjoyed life to the fullest. So the desire arose for others to have those experiences as well. The idea of bringing Korean Fried Chicken to the people was born. Even as take-away or delivery - so that you can share the meal with friends on a cozy evening at home.
